Hasten Won 2024 Aon China Best ESG Employer Award

December 5th, 2024 – Shanghai, China. Aon Group, a leading global professional services firm, today announced it has released the China Best ESG Employers Award list for 2024. Hasten Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hasten) was awarded "2024 China Best ESG Employer Award" out of overall 186 companies.

 

 

Starting from 2022, the first year of commercial operation, Hasten was awarded the " 2022 Aon China Best ESG Employer Agile Organization Award" for its efforts on sustainable organization building and innovation achievements. In 2023, Hasten was awarded another individual award as the “2023 China Best ESG Employer Seed Award” for the efforts delivered and the great potential of the company manifested in ESG practices. While the company dashing into “the 2.0 era” in 2024 and its ESG strategy has been leveled up as well, everyone in Hasten devoted in ESG operation with more efforts and strengthened mindsets, and eventually won recognitions with this award.

The Aon China Best ESG Employers Award has won wide recognition in the community for its rigorous and objective evaluation system. To figure out the outstanding ESG employers who striving to enhance their employee value proposition beyond employee experience and engagement, Aon’s selection process lasted half a year and was conducted through questionnaires, employee surveys and high-level interviews under the four criteria of Responsibility, Maturity, Resilience and Agility.

 

Although a start-up in the healthcare industry, Hasten's high quality products and solutions have benefited millions of patients with chronic and acute illnesses from the Pan-Asia region, mainland China and Switzerland. Moreover, at the very beginning of its commercial operation, the management team already emphasized ESG performance during the company's daily practices, culture cultivation and implementation initiative. Simultaneously, Hasten has established a forward-looking and mature ESG strategy, which is committed to building a closed-loop of sustainable management from “cultivating awareness” to “strengthening habits” and then to “generating impacts” accordingly.

 

Since 2022, Hasten has incorporated ESG into the management team’s ORK, set up an ESG committee, and continuously strengthened the employees' ESG awarenesses and actions through internal trainings and activities alike. From 2023 to 2024, Hasten organized its employees to take part in the “Love the Origin of Our Life” coastal-cleaning action for times, and cleaned up more than 850kg of marine garbage in all hands on coastal clean-up this year, which let the employee blend in down-to-earth ESG practice personally. At the same time, the committee introduced the “ESG Dashboard” to track and evaluate ESG impacts in digital ways so as to make efforts more visible and achieve better optimization.

 

 

According to Aon’s documents concluded during the selection, nearly 90% of the companies consider employees as the essential partner in ESG practice. Hasten maintains high consistency with this and has always regarded the development of talents and the demands of employees as the core driving forces. Through implementing in the “S.T.E.P. Project” and the “Management-Frontline Express” for three consecutive years, which both plays a vital role between management-employee communication, Hasten has been able to gain quick insights and respond to the needs of the employees, which effectively improve organizational mobility and flexibility. At the same time, outstanding employees also receive full recognition regularly, which allows the company and employees to obtain growth together. These initiatives not only provide strong support for the high-quality development of the enterprise, but also effectively enhance the self-identification and self-satisfaction of employees.
